Hey all - new to AR15.com, but I managed to snag up one of those trade in CZ 75's.
Quick question for those that know - when shipping the handgun to my FFL, will AIM put my contact info on the outside of the box? My FFL doesn't open boxes sent to him (some legal issue in the past or something), so if my contact info isn't on the outside of the box he won't be able to call me when it's in, which means it could be sitting on his shelf right now... |

Then you will know to call your FFL, if you don't hear from them by the late afternoon that day. Edit: just make sure to call the day after it ships, so the tracking number will be active. |

My X Grade FEG via Imgur
I haven't taken the time to really properly clean it, so that is as it looked when I picked it up. I ran it through the ultrasonic a few times, but didn't get down to it like I need to. I just wanted to do a fair cleaning and full once-over inspection, before firing. I ran the frame through twice (one cycle, flip over, second cycle) and the cleaning solution went straight black. Nasty. You could barely see the frame in there, when the second cycle was over. |
