Good afternoon RA,
I want to preface this by saying that this is NOT a complaint or an issue, so please do not read this with any negative connotation. I recently joined the APEX Club at Rainier to see what all the new promotions were about. The free shipping and pricing tiers was very appealing. My concern/question is not on the price, your company does very well with pricing items (take that as you wish from Johnny Citizen), but they are definitely fair to say the least. With the Apex membership, clearly we do get free shipping, but therein lies my question I guess. I had placed an order on 8 October, which was during the weekend and I understand that, but it took almost a whole week to process the order, and still is on track to be here on Wednesday the 19th. I always appreciate the free shipping aspect of it, and Apex is a paid service, is shipping always going to take that long to process/ship? I had the expectation that it would possibly be free ground shipping, possibly 2-3 day or something, but it just feels like not that much of a bonus perk of paying $100, or $80 for the promotional pricing to get a lower cost tier but have to wait almost twice as long to receive the product, rather that order it from a competitor.
Again, I am not complaining, nor do I plan on cancelling the membership, I am not asking for a refund, credit, anything of that nature. Is this going to be pretty standard moving forward with Apex? Will we see any changes in the future? Was this just a bad week to order, with maybe backorders on products or just busy week at the company. I do understand all of the above, it happens.
Sorry for the short novel. I do appreciate doing business with RA and will continue to do so. I am in the process of doing quite a few builds coming up in the next few months, wanting to try out some new companies that you are currently stocking such as F1, Strike Industries, as well as trying out quite a few products from yourselves as well. So I am looking forward to this continued relationship in the future.
Regards
