I'm shopping for a Rainier Evolution rail, and notice on your website that they are all keymod rails. I see lots of pictures here on arfcom of builds using a Rainier evolution rail that has screw holes and attached bits of rail, instead of keymod.
Are these two separate versions of the same thing? Did the keymod version replace the screw-hole version? Are they both still offered?
If the keymod version replaced the screw-hole version, were there any other design changes besides moving to keymod?
Do you still offer bits of rail, and rail covers, and sling mounts and such that would fit the older version?
The reason I ask is because I'm working on a build for my wife and she likes the appearance of the screw-hole version better. But you don't offer those on your website any longer and they seem more difficult to find. I also don't know how hard it would be to find accessories to attach to the screw holes like bits of rail and rail covers and such. I also don't know if maybe the keymod version is 'better' than the screw-hole version for other reasons and improvements as well.
Thanks!
