I realize you guys probably normally get contacted when there is a problem with customer service, but I just wanted to give a great big thanks to Andy. I recently purchased a G2 15" slim handguard assembly. I've built every AR I've owned, and helped several friends build theirs, so I'm familiar with the procedure.

The other day when I was trying to torque the barrel nut for the handguard. I just could not get the nut to line up with any acceptable torque rating. I used moly grease on the threads and torqued it from 30 ft-lbs progressively higher several times to set the threads. However, in order to get the nut to align properly, I either had to have the torque value below 25 or it would bottom out above 60.

I was ready to get an upper receiver lapping tool to take a couple thousandths off the front of the receiver, but I called Customer Service first. I spoke with Andy Yohnk and explained the situation to him. While he agreed that the lapping tool would do the trick, he told me he would send another barrel nut for free (normally $19.95) to see if that might fix the issue rather than having me pay $30 out of pocket for a tool. I got it 3 days later, and the assembly went on smooth as butter.
Thank you Andy!
