And now the upper is now sold out...
Still trying to figure out if I want to make the jump in to 300BLK. Short of the gee-wiz factor when shooting sub-sonic/suppressed, what is this going to do for me? I don't hunt... yet? We don't have a hog problem in NoVA and I've heard lots of bickering back and forth about hunting deer with the round.
Sell me!

What length are you thinking of going with???
The areas I think the .300 Blk excels at are
SBR/Pistol length performance
Suppression-ability
In addition to the above two, the ability to do those mentioned and throw a bigger projectile downrange and have better ballistics than a .223
Also, reloading, you can buy new or once fired cases, or collect/make your own from yours or others spent 223 casings... Over my last 3 trips to the range I bet I've picked up several hundred spent .223 cases...
Also, I think its more of a want than a need thing... My .223/5.56 ARs really did everything I needed them too... I didn't really need a .300 Blk for shooting steel and paper, I just wanted it... I get bored and want something new every so often...
