If you been on the fence about getting in on the deal, you better make your move. |

Just waiting for payday...most likely will be done by then with my luck.
ETA: Decided to order on credit and my option was sold out...Fuck Just don't want their standard profile barrel otherwise I would order the second option. |

View Quote As of this am they still have their 16" ELW with a 13" KMR in stock were I to buy an upper from them today this would be the one I'd get. I have a couple 14.5 ELW -fluted but I like the 16" ELW best (which is why I am hoping for the BFH ELW 16" to show up soon) The flutes save a tiny amount of weight but a light wt carrier saves even more. |

The upper I originally wanted is now in stock. I didn't order yet and started to research the info you posted. LW vs ELW. People are liking the ELW better than the LW. Apparently 1 oz makes a difference. I also researched the CHF vs the Standard button rifled debate. Everything I have read says you'll never really need a CHF barrel. Any truth to this? After all, you said your waiting for the BFH version over the Button rifled EWL. How come? I'll be doing more reading and probably order later tonight. Im going with one of these guys... option 1 option 2 Just want to get this order in before the deal ends so feel free to chime in. Thanks |

I am partial to BCM BFH barrels and the rotary hammer forging process....
BCM's Erick Kincel once stated that he believed the cold hammer forging process enabled a barrel to hold chrome better.... Is this better than the standard cut or button rifled barrel not necessarily...... If I were buying a BCM KMR upper today.....the 16" ELW with the 13 KMR would be my choice...if they had a 16" BFH upper with a 13 KMR that would be my choice. I would say both your choices are the best two options going for a BCM Chrome lined upper receiver group....that is in stock at this moment. You couldn't go wrong with either one. |

Its a one ounce difference between the LW and ELW barrel....why is the ELW so much more popular?
ETA: Just ordered option 2.....thanks for all the insight Doc. |

Original upper I wanted was out of stock for only a day. Deal should be over any day now probably after the weekend.

Is there something I should know about this upper/barrel, since it is one of the few not sold out? I need to order a 11.5 soon and done want to miss the free BCG offer
BCM SS410™ 11.5" Carbine Upper Receiver Group 1/8 Twist BCM SS410 11.5" Upper Receiver Group 1/8 Twist (NFA) List Price: $615.00 Our Price: $515.00 You save $100.00! In Stock |
|
The only thing you don't know now is, how much your gonna like it when you get it.
I waited months and I mean many, for the SS410 Ionbond barrel to come in stock that I have. I would consider yourself lucky that it's there. |
|
yeah, just ordered an upper before the deal goes away.
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-BFH-16-Mid-Length-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/bcm-urg-mid-16%20bfh%20vtrx13.htm Cant beat the free BCG and Comp. Added the Mod4 charging handle. Now just need to dig up a lower. |
|
I bought one. Got the 16" Middie with a Geissele rail. Going to get another 14.5 if the sale holds out another week. Thanks BCM for all the free goodies that were in the box and try to hold the sale for another week or so I can come up with some more spare change.
|
|
BCM knows how to market. Deal is still going... I bit the worm last week thinking it would be over soon. I was wrong yet received a bad ass complete upper! I might get another...
|
|
I'm not buying one until the deal is over
This coming Wed it will be two weeks since the warning.... It is now two weeks since the warning........ |
|
Just need those 11.5's to come back into stock...
ELW or Gov't for suppressor use...hmmmmmm. |

I ordered a 14.5 ELW Fluted w/ Perm attached BCM Comp and KRM13 today. Added a KMR grip, Mod 4 Charging Handle, and a Mod 3 Pistol Grip. Just gotta decide on a lower for it.

Will being used to all 16 " would I expect any possible issues? Maybe buffer issues, not really a prob but anything else.? Also , curious why did you go with compensator? |

The one I chose is a combo flash hide / compensator. It was either that or an extended A2 flash hider. I had ditched my 5.56 suppressor and will later get one in .300 blackout as I don't see much to gain in supressing 5.56 after owning one for the better part of seven years. |

Now, there can be issues with 14.5 middy's (usually gas port hole size) but believe me, BCM got it right. You won't have any problems. |

Anyone know about how long the 11.5 uppers have been out of stock and how often they come back in stock? Really hoping they come back in before the BCG sale is over.

View Quote I know most of the 11.5 uppers with an A2 front sight post went out of stock around the first week in February. Many railed uppers were OOS at that time and I am not sure how long before that they had been gone. |

All the 16" carbines disappeared today, I checked again just now and M4 carbine was up so I fo'd. Probably the longest I have procrastinated about an upper.

Thanks for the heads up. Just placed an order for 11.5" LW, and BCG still included. Better hurry while you can.

I ordered a 14.5 elw kmr...but Ill be a little upset if the BFH comes out finally...but I am not worried because my shooting schedule doesn't equate to the life id get out of a BFH
so profit. |

Held off on ELW because I do think BFH is still coming down the line.
Went 14.5 BFH govt profile, nice value. |

I agree with the "if it comes, it comes" sentiment.
Another heavier profile barrel just made more sense for me at this particular moment. |

went to get a midlength 16"upper today and they went OOS before I could complete the order. Hoping they come back before this sale ends
