Let me start by saying that I love Magpul. I own a shit ton of their PMAGs as well as stocks, handguards, pistol grips, etc. used across 6 ARs.
Well, I bought one of their winter trigger guards, went to install it, and the hex screw for the front of the trigger guard is out of spec. My hex wrench just spins and spins and won't turn the screw I tried other hex sizes bigger and smaller, and they don't work either. I've installed a couple of other trigger guards in other ARs, and never had this problem.
I filled out their online form asking for a new screw early this past week, and have yet to hear back from them. I'm sure they are busy with post-SHOT show orders, etc. but I've dealt with some other companies this week who were able to get back to me quickly despite timing of SHOT show.
I know I'm just one little retail customer and it's just a tiny part, but I wish they would at least acknowledge they received the message. Maybe the form didn't work? I don't know. So, hear I am trying to reach them another way.
Anyone at Magpul, can you please help?
