Not really priorities, more about design parameters. At any period we have about 6 -7 projects running at a time. Something like a shotgun stock will take a year to get to finalized in design where a field case for a phone may take just a few weeks

i agree & would be more likely to buy magpul grips for my 92 than i would for the 1911.
to me the 1911 is a classic wood grip gun and the M9/92 is a more modern service weapon that would be more suited to some magpul goodness.
Nothing sexier than a 1911 with some US stamped wood grips.
There are many more 1911s out there than M9/92FSs. However I think M9/92 owners would be more likely to install Magpul products due to the reason you pointed out (more modern).
I was reading in one of the other threads that it cost a minimum 75 grand to set up/molds for PMAGs. Not sure if it would be the same for grips. One would think that develop/design would be relatively easy as it's already done for the 1911 grips...but what do I know about manufacturing...nothing.
i cant imagine its that much to get it set up. especially with 3D modelling.
if magpul can pop out phone cases like they do....
priorities i guess

i can totally understand a shotgun/rifle stock taking a long time to design, test, etc.
but a grip for a pistol has to be so much easier. i am surprised there arent magpul grips for M9's, ruger MK's, as well as many other popular handguns.
hell, you guys could change the design every year and people may collect the damn things.
i get that there are a lot more iphones & galaxies than there are guns out here tho and money is money. but lets see some M9/Beretta love
