Quoted: I received this info from a Marine colleague of mine: The Salesforce CEO, Marc Benioff, has established a new program specifically for veterans to become certified Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts free of charge. His goal is to hire thousands of veterans into these roles over the next 5 years to stop the veteran unemployment crisis. If you or anyone you know is interested in a career change, or interested in getting certified please refer them to the Vetforce website: https://veterans.force.com/ The program is for ANY veteran, there is no age, mos, or service restrictions. I was able to speak with about 30 veterans who have completed the program and their stories are remarkable. Many came from combat arms MOS and were unable to find steady employment after transitioning off of active duty. After enrolling in the program, most were able to get employed within a few weeks, and substantially increase their income. Please help get the word out.
