I'm a prior service Marine now serving in the National Guard. Dress blues were much easier to set up than these damned ASU's. The Army sure likes to stick a lot of stuff on their uniforms. Anyways, in the Marine Corps I was a 1391 Bulk Fuel Specialist. I enlisted in the Army as a 15T and I'm currently in an aviation regiment. I have not been sent to school to reclass yet. I would assume that means I retain the MOS of 92F until I reclass? If that is the case I would then wear the Quartermaster insignia, correct? Would I also wear the Quartermaster regimental crest, the one that goes above the nameplate and/or unit awards? As far as unit awards go, would my unit awards from the Marine Corps be worn on the right side, or would they stay in my current ribbon rack? Marines only wear unit awards on the right side when wearing medals, not ribbons. And my final question ,do I rate the Army Service Ribbon, the rainbow one? I'm technically MOS qualified as a 92F, which if I remember what I read it is awarded upon completion of AIT.
I already have my overseas stripes, service stripes, chevrons, unit crests, and everything else. Its the awards that have me stumped/confused. Thanks in advance guys.
