Probably why mine is an ex-wife, couldn't deal with the stress.
I've changed jobs but still wear a uniform, just not on streets anymore. |

I'm always torn on whether to share shit like that with my wife. A lot of truth in it... A lot. The job changes the wives almost as much as it changes us, it can be hard at times not to feel guilty about it, even though I was a cop when we met... Almost like we steal the ability for them to wander through life oblivious amd normal like any other non LEO or .mil wife

You want them to be aware to a certain degree so they understand certain things but also be nieve at some point to how fucked up society is at times. |
