That linked article makes it sound like possibly a random thing as far as the victim being an officer; not like a targeted thing.

Home invasion/robbery. Not tied to his job. GD was claiming up and down is was a BLM hit.

I live in the area and heard that it had something to do with a Craigslist set up and robbery. They tortured him.
