What unit was he in? I just got my Great grandfathers pay records from company B,34th Ohio Infantry,in the mail yesterday.Pretty cool.

Grand Review May 24. Mustered out June 1, 1865.

Regiment lost during service 10 Officers and 110 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 2 Officers and 125 Enlisted men by disease. Total 247.

Seems like they fought Joe Johnstons and Bagg's Army of the Tennessee and then went on the Great Picnic (March to the Sea) before rampaging through the Carolinas and participating in the Grand Review in Washington, DC.
