I bought a REM 870 folder marked "for law enforcement only". Is this stock illegal when mounted on the pump shotgun ? I thought dealers couldn't sell LEO to a civilian. I did a search on all forums, but am looking for a more recent response. Thanks in advance for any pointers.

It's probably an LE over run gun, it is perfecly legal to own a folding stock pump shotgun. As long as your state has no restrictions.

Let me clarify...I purchased the Rem folding stock , marked LEO, and a 20 inch slug barrel to modify my Rem 870 for personal defense purposes. I plan to keep the gun at home and/or in an automobile (State of Texas). This gun is currently a "hunting" shotgun with fixed stock. Thanks
