I think it looks alright. Not sure about the quality though.

Fuck no it's a cheap piece of shit.
That's what kel tec makes, but they back them up well.

If you can see mould release lines, it most assuredly does not fall under those criteria...

They'll sell, just not to me.

Not very good quality. I'll never own another one.

The P3AT that I had ran just fine with factory ball ammo; I didn't try it with fancy ninja HP shredder +P+P+ ammo though. I also didn't shoot it very much, but it never bobbled in feeding/functioning, ever. I wound up selling iit to someone who made me a deal I couldn't turn down.

I wouldn't sneer at another one. If you want/need a slim automatic pocket gun, it's definitily a good starting point. Of course, it's hard to ignore a J-frame Smith if you want that..

Nowhere near as small as a P3AT.

Yup,
Heard the ad on his show (driving between Memphis & Little Rock at night, there is little programming to choose from.)

They're thicker but I don't think they're much longer or taller than a P3AT.

If I didn't shoot a revolver incredibly poorly I'd be considering a J-frame too

I'm making due with my comparitivly huge Detonics CombatMaster...

Uummm...is it just me, or does that bore look to be the size of about a .45 on a .380 frame? Maybe it's just the angle or something, but something just doesn't look right.

Edited to add - I do like them though. My XD Sub .40, S&W 642 and P3AT...I never leave the house without atleast one of them on me.

1gen owner here.  Seams in the plastic come off easy enough with about 45 seconds behind a half round file. I had to work the bugs out of mine, the final fix was to chamfer the top of the chamber opening to about a 1/32"-1/16" radius. All my jams went away.  Now it even shoots the WWB from wally world. Yea, I was pretty pissed having to make a new gun work right out of the box, but it was the only game in town in that size when it was introduced.  now I need to get the slide hard chromed.

BTW, not no, but HELL NO will I pay $600+ for that fancy crap they engraved on the slide.

How much they want for that?

I was already laughing pretty hard just at the mention of 'Kel-Tek' and 'finest handgun ever crafted' being used together in the same sentence. The fact it's the same crappy mouse gun with a laser and pretty slide just adds fuel to the fire.

No.  A good little gun, though, imo.

I like this compact .380 better:

And he pimps an ammo brand too , and another Firearms related sponser is in heavy rotation too with another potential one on deck (And think Left leaning folks and haters of conservatives try to paint him as an anti every chance they get .

How many rounds of your defense ammo (assuming hollowpoints) have you run through it with 100% reliability?

When Clothing does not allow me to carry my Glock 23, I carry a Kel-Tec P3AT. It's an ugly little pocket pistol that gets the job done, I haven't had any issues with it after the 100 round break in.

Well, I'm glad your guitar is a weapon. Because your Kel-Tek isn't much of one

I heard him pimping this very gun in an ad on his show a while back. At first I was like  then I was like then then .

I have a Kel Tec 3AT.  I carry it often, mine is reliable and a good pocket gun.  That said, I feel I have the personal knowledge to say, in no way shape or form is it "the finest handgun ever crafted".

I lost a lot of respect for Savage the second I heard it.

I've fired a friend's.  It is his everyday carry.  Its cheaply made, but it shot surprisingly well.

Uh...the ad is written by Kel-Tech what did you think they were going to call it? A pot-metal piece of shit? Savage gets paid to read the words of Kel-tech's ad on the radio. Big deal. He reads ads for all kinda of things, 'Swiss America', 'Carbonite', 'Go-To-My-PC'....

The company wants the host to read their ad because people listening to his show are more likely to listen/not ignore his voice when he reads it then another commercial voice.

FWIW he said his favorite pistol is the combat commander.

FAIL.
The other way around. P3AT's have been around for years, the LCP is what, maybe 2 years old?

EDIT: P3AT introduced 2003.
LCP introduced 2008.

I'm not loving the OP pistol myself, but I am carrying my P11 right now. I do love it.

ETA: Jodie Foster was carrying a Kahr IIRC.
