Because of the ads Henry is running on Fox, I asked my young bride to go buy a Henry of some sort ...
... she and the youngest daughter came back with a kid 's 22 single shot made by Henry Rifle company. Box looks just like in the ads. I urge you guys to do likewise. |

I'd like to get a lever action in .45acp. I wonder if Henry makes one.
Edit: Guess not, just checked their site. |
I have seen those adds on FOX.
Looks like a damn fine rifle too. |
Guns show bound in two weeks
I'll add that to my want list In 357 of course for me, unless they make it in 40 which I doubt |
Just went to their site and they have a Abe Lincoln commemorative rifle

Think they have a hard time cranking out shit now? Can you imagine a LaRue commercial, featuring an OSR (sniper) and a couple of stealths (tactical operators) doing some drills, ala Costa/Haley... sheeeit. Wait time on their kit would go ballistic.

Would LaRue do a Fox News ad? Maybe sponsor Glenn Beck?
He owns firearms you know, and is a life member of the NRA. |

I have "hinted" that I would also like somethnig in .44 mag - just for fun.
She hasn't caught on yet. |
my dad picked up a crickett 22 rifle to teach my younger brothers to shoot, its another rifle that is a great place to start and is fairly inexpensive, so when they outgrow it its not that big of a loss...
though even as adults we still use that rifle its great with subsonic 22s |

I don't own any lever actions, but isn't it very difficult to make a lever-action chambered in a rimless cartridge? IMHO, .45LC is the traditional choice and in a carbine it should be ballistically equivalent, if not better. I've really been meaning to get one of their .22s. I hear those tube magazines hold a metric sh*t ton of .22 shorts. I saw a used one a few weeks ago for like $140 and I was going to get it but I noticed the crown was badly damaged and I didn't want to take the chance. I'll get one eventually... |

load on Sunday and shoot all week.
I want Larue on Fox as well |
I already have a Henry. Great rifle.
I'd like to see my stealth upper in an ad. I'd be happy seeing my stealth upper on my lower, waiting for it is hell! |
Just picked up a H001T a couple of weeks ago. It is an absolute blast to shoot.
Always wanted one of those....guess I'll have to shift my 'list' around some. |

I'd love to see Fox allow advertising for all sorts of firearms, designed for all sorts of purposes. Can you imagine how liberals would react?
I like those ads.
The owner reminds me of all of my goombah uncles from Brooklyn. |
I don't see one in 30-30 or 45/70. Already got plenty of American made .22s. Wonder why they don't make one for a medium game rifle cartridge? |

Really nice to see a good looking US made rifle, and a gun ad on FNC.
While perusing one of my motorcycle magazines, I came across an ad for the Henry Survival Rifle (AR-7). Bought one the next day. The next months' issue had a bunch of comments in the Letters to the Editor section about that ad, some saying they would cance their subscription and others saying great. I e-mailed the editor and told her not to cave in to the anti-gun crowd, and that I purchased the rifle because of that ad, but she said she was "forced" to stop printing any gun ads.

A motorcylce magazine ... We run ads in some aviation magazines. The comments are always ... "By gawd son, them damn things didn't look like that back in 'nam." |

i saw that ad last week during Hannity. it was the best part of the show.

How long has the add been running on Fox News? I dont have cable. The add has been running on our local and PBS stations for about a year.
