you don't need a c&r license to buy one. But you will get it cheaper. Hoping to get mine this year.

Inter Ordinance has excellent ones, but they are more than twice what you are quoting. I have heard fairly bad things about the cheaper ones you speak of...
Bad Bores, Bent barrels, Bad wood, etc... Buyer Beware. If you aren't used to buying milsurp, you probably won't like what they are calling "good". One of the reasons that the Yugo's are suffering when compared to Russian, Chinese, and Romanian is that they don't have chrome lined barrels and Yugoslavia did indeed use corrosive ammo. Not a good formula for a good bore... |

Plus you have to figure the Yugo ones have been used in combat. I am waiting to have my FFL get some in, because I have heard bad things about the cheap ones available.

This is the only pic i can find. The one my ffl has, has decent wood and bore looks ok. Although it is somewhat dirty and can't really tell until it's cleaned. |

Well i bought it. There it was sitting on the wall calling to me. Ended up 160.00 out the door. Got a few minor dings in the wood. But the bore is Excellent and the night sights still glow bright. Hopefully i get to shoot it soon. All milled parts no stamped. Overall quality looks VERY good for commie gun work.

What is that hanging out there on the business end of that weapon? And what is that between the gas tube and the front sight post?

That's a grenade launcher attatchment at the muzzle. Between the front sight and gas tube is a grenade sight. In the photo above it's shown in the collapsed position.
