Small lockblade Remington with a built-in cigar cutter hole in the handle. That way if someone asks I say it's for my cigars, not to gut someone [smartass]
And a really small swiss army. |

A Buck 301 three blade pocket knife I've carried since 1979 and a A. G. Russell one hander folder.

For the past 6 years I've alternated between Benchmade CQC7 and AFCK. Lately I've been carrying the AFCK almost exclusively.

Up untill a couple of weeks ago the only knife I carried was a Leatherman Sideclip. Now thanks to Ronin45 I'm carrying a MicroTech SOCOM clip point half serrated. This knife is a work of art.
I plan on adding the CRKT AR15.com knife to my collection soon. |
|
I typically carry one of my various Leatherman tools at work every day. I have found that I like the "Wave" model best.
Do any of you spend more time using your folding multi-tools than getting the right tool for the job? .....Maybe it's just me. |
|
Emerson Commander in the right pocket emerson CQCX7 in the left pocket and an Emerson LaGriffe around my neck!!
Went to a strip club in Houston and one of the strippers was fascinated by the Lagriffe around my neck and asked if she could pull it out. she examined it and asked where she could get one. Then she started to put it back in its sheath (around my neck) and almost stabbed me in the throat, I took it back and told her I think I'll put it back in if you dont mind[:O] |

I consider mine a tool more so than a knife but the generic name will do.BENCHMADE-EMERSON 970s spec war model CQC7. And interested in buying a couple more.

Emerson CQC-7, CRKT K.I.S.S. money clip knife.
Used to carry a Benchmade AFCK but the wife lost it along the highway somewhere near Boise :( If you find it, it's mine. |
|
Waved Emerson CQC7, Case Whittler (green appaloosa bone handles)
have a Boker 2076 Michael Walker in Cocobolo, but i don't carry that one much. wannabe |
|
Depending on my location..... a Benchmade Automatic, Masters of Defense Automatic, Gerber Applegate Combat Folder, Gerber Multi-Tool, Leatherman Super Tool...
In the woods, I carry a SOG SEAL 2000 in addition to a couple of the aforementioned knives...thats not everyday though... |
|
I carry a Kershaw Ken Onion Whirlwind plain blade which I'm about to replace with a Kershaw Black Out (same knife but a black coated blade) since the damned Whirlwind has gone AWOL. I'll probably go for the partially serrated blade this time.
God Bless Texas |
|
victorinox swiss army "camper". it has a toothpick, tweezer, awl, 2 knife blade, 2 screwdriver blades, corkscrew, bottle and can openers, saw. i have used all of the blades.

Gerber EZ out fullsize has been on my pocket for 10 months, but i'm upgrading to the Benchmade 942BT with the Axis Lock. It's the coolest locking mechanism i've ever seen.
BTW, for those who have handled a Gerber Ez-out, ain't it funny how people "hey man, you got a knife on you so i can cut this open" types can't open it with one hand, yet you could drive a small car through the thumb hole. Last, it irks me when i pull it out for utilitarian tasks, and get this look from people that could shatter glass. It's the "What in the world do you carry that for" look. I just tell them they would never understand! go Go Go |

Leatherman PST II everywhere except work (damn prison rules) and a Ka-Bar for play.

I carry the Beretta Airlight serrated full size for now. It's a good knife for my general needs.
The Cold Steel Vaquero Grande and the Gurkha Light Kukri are just a bit large for everyday carry... What I want to know is: when are the AR15.com knives going to be sent? I've been waiting impatiently for over a month now (half of which my computer was out of commission!!!). |
|
Sebenza- size varies depending on mission. Small for everyday attack envelopes, packaging, nail cleaning... large for when I'm further away from home and may have to fight my way back.
BTW, I *hate* serrations. They prevent clean cuts in many materials. If I had to cut seat-belts, rope, or major arteries (read "Hannibal"), I might reconsider my opinion. |

View Quote That big Dual-Mode Coach I drive(diesel & electric) has ropes tethering the poles to the bus. There have been times when it was necessary to cut the rope and tie them together to maintain safe operation. Poles arcing across 700 volt wires make one helluva spark! Besides, it's a good reason to carry a "tool". |

Just bought a K-BAR folding knife. Very nice--it seems to be of really high quality.

Apparently I am the only person on earth (or at least frequenting this site) who carries a Solingen Tactical Tanto 1/2 serrated. Never without it.

I've been carrying a CRKT M16-13Z for 2 years and can't tear it up. Best knife I've seen for what it cost.

The Boker Applegate Fairbairn boot knife is the way to go for fixed blades. It comes with a great Kydex sheath (looks like its jump rated)and feels great in the hand. "It's the world's only production combat knife ever designed, based on actual military combat experience." Man, this is the coolest knife I've ever bought and I just can't put it down!

|
I have stumbled around from knife to knife for years until I finally did some homework before my purchase. I carry a CRKT Ryan Model 7 plain blade. It is basically a production model of a custom knife. I LOVE it. I carry it EVERYWHERE... I feel completely naked without at least a two and a half inch blade in my pocket. I was driving to the store to pick up some food (never intending to get out of my car) and forgot my knife. Luckily I had a backup in the glove compartment. I almost had to turn the car around. I take my knives seriously.
