2 days in the box

3-4 wrapped up in plastic wrap.
Heating it back up slowly in the oven helps.

Damn, I'm a nasty bastard. Not long ago I went to Little Sleazer's and got a Hot 'N Ready, ate some, left it on the counter when I went to the field for like 3 or 4 days, came home and finished it off. And it still tasted outstanding.

Well this one's gonna have to last a week.  Ordered pizza w/ a girl last night and there was a lot left.  I forgot my share in her dorm and I probably wont be up there till this coming weekend.

I'll give an AAR after I eat it.

You are suppose to put it in the fridge?
Link Posted: 9/8/2008 7:16:52 PM EDT
[#13]
Depends on how long the cheese, sauce, pepperoni etc...
were sitting out on the make table.

See, pizzerias take that stuff out of the fridge, and it sits out.
You can't have AC in the kitchen, so it's hot as fuck.
Stuff gets refilled throughout the day then the container gets put into the fridge at night.

Personally, I tend to trust pizzerias...
I worked in a few around here back in the day and nothing was disgusting.
However, I have a two day rule.
I've had stomach aches from 2-day pizza, probably the sauce, so I won't go past that.

Several days. In my humble opinion, go to Wal-Mart and buy one of their Great Value brand fresh deli pizzas. They are very good cooked right in your own oven. So good in fact, you won't have to wonder about left-over pizza.

That stuff is probably filled with preservatives.
Thats not really "pizza" in the normal sense, it's fast food pizza like substance.
Much like a McDonalds cheeseburger that'll never mold and even bugs won't touch.

The last at least a week in the fridge in the box. When the weather is cool we have left them on the counter for the same amount of time.

Oh sure, but I never once saw a health inspector, and I spent a good many years in the food business.
While you aren't supposed to refill a container, it's done regularly.
Not the sauce, that's normally something you switch out.
Cheese and pepperoni though, often just gets topped off.

Quality control tends to take a massive shit around here, once the boss ain't around.

For example, a biggie with me... I won't eat ketchup from dispensers.
People top them off, they don't wash em out. Ketchup does go bad.
I knew someone who ended up in the hospital from bad dispenser ketchup.

Pizza made in CHINA

Chinese cuisine uses little to no cheese. Yes, it's fresh pizza made right here in the good ol' USA.

Until it turns green.

If it's green, just scrape it off and cook it a little longer.

I never use any ketchup, steak sauce or any reusable bottle when i go out to eat .I always ask for a new bottle ,if the safty seal is broken it goes back.  There are to many idiots that will put weird shit in the bottle and the waitress/waiter don't think to check the bottle
