I just read about this HR 1247 from the beginning of 2001. I sure hope this didn't pass or we're all screwed. How do we find out if it passed? Here's the link to the bill http://www.theorator.com/bills107/hr1247.html Go Go Go

thomas.loc.gov is always a handy resource for questions like this. It shows that this bill only has one sponsor and has had no action since 4/19/2001, when it was referred to the House Subcommittee on Crime.

Here is some more about it, along with it's Senate ID S25, Dated 6/25/01: http://www.witherspoonsociety.org/Global/act_for_gun_control.htm

Remember Britain - register first, confiscate second. I will not comply with a registration scheme in any way shape or form. That's my line in the sand.

Thanks for the Speedy Update fellas, i'm sure glad that this thing hasn't gone anywhere in Congress so far. It would be a nightmare if it passed. I think I would take a mortgage to buy every gun i ever dreamed of before this thing took effect to avoid registration with the Feds. Sometimes they scare me those guys. Go Go Go
