I try. It's a goal of mine. My favorite thing to do is wake up and just start drinking till noon, grab lunch and ride out the buzz for the rest of the night. [):)] NSF

Yes, I do. I go through 2 1/2 cases a week or so. Not a good habit. It will hurt me over the long term. I'm 40 and have been doing it ever since I was in my early 20's. I know my days of popping a top are limited. The ole liver won't hold up much longer. Just make sure you maintain proper nutrition or you will kill your liver real fast.

Yes, but who cares? If your not getting drunk everyday, beating your wife or kids or dog, or doing nothing but drinking, who cares. If your not hanging out at the bar every night instead of hanging out with your wife or family every night, who cares. If your not out getting drunk and getting behind the wheel, getting arrested, or messing up your career, than who cares? A case of beer a week IMO, ain't a bad thing. In Europe it's fairly common. It's called relaxing. Stress can kill you as well, a fact often overlooked. Studies have even shown that 3-5 beers (or the equivalent in wine) a night are good for you. So..... ?

A couple of beers a day is not a problem. As long as you're not having to drink more every day to get some same affect. Relieving stress is a very important thing to do. It is the leading cause of illness and anxiety. A long term regular treatment of the correct herbs can help you to avoid ever having to do prescription drugs to counter the affect. Beer has herbs. Beer is good :) Dr. Retro approves.

My father knew Jackie Gleason,he used to drink every day(JG).But he wasent a drunk.Gleason touted,"drunks dont know why they drink" he said,"I drink to get drunk".I no longer drink on a regular basis.Saves me a G note a year easy.

Winston Churchill was a big, daily drinker. He led Great Britain though WWII fueled by a liter of brandy or whiskey each day. "I have taken much more out of alcohol than it has taken out of me."

if you drink a lot of beer,you drink a lot!just keep guzzling and maybe you can get ussa's bed when he is done with it.its not"relaxing"its drinking.used to be achohol and drugs were used only on special occaisions now corporations have got you by the shorthairs buying into their crap product[at least gernany enforces brewing laws!]alchohol and tobacco products are the leading causes of misery and death in this country,if not the world.just try to think of all the wonderful decisions you made w/ a brew in hand and how things would of gone different if you hadnt been drinking.do yourselves a big favor,and do something with yourself other than drinking some overpriced corporate pisswater

My buddy USED to drink 200mls of South. Comfort a day, and the docs told him that if he don't stop drinking, you WILL die within a year. He has been attending AA meeting and has cut his drinking down to 200ml a week.

Yes I smoke, Yes I drink. I smoke now in moderation: 3 cigs today, thats about how much I do daily. Alcohol is always welcome and that might be anywhere between 1 - 9 depending if I have to work the next day. Besides, I'm smoking and drinking for the children. [):)] NSF

Word of caution: DON'T DRINK THAT HOOCH HARD LEMONADE - DANG IT! IT TASTES LIKE CAA - CAA! Man that stuff sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![puke] Yes, I consume adult beverages. SHINER!! LOVE THE STUFF! But shoot, a six pack will last me two weeks or longer. That's not too bad.

"I'm drunk right now." Just kidding. Drinking a lot is fun in one's early twenties, but it gets to be tedious pretty quick. Same with smoking cigarettes. I'll drink a beer about once every two months, usually at friends' houses, if it's offered to me. One's enough. I smoke a pipe with about the same frequency, usually at historical reenactment events. Take care of your body, and it will take care of you. Otherwise, it WILL become your enemy, more quickly than you can imagine, kids.

You are OK but are headed into the danger zone. If you drink 4 beers everyday you are going to wind up having trouble. Quick story. I started drinking when I was 14. Drank everyday throughout my late teens and twenties. Even worked at a liquor store during college. Everything was cool until I was about 28 and suddenly I went from drinking a half pint of whisky a night and thinking nothing of it to drinking a pint and I realized something was wrong. This will likely happen to you some time. I just quit. No AA or anything. It was strange at first but it's great now. Bottom line if you are 30 or above stop drinking. Most people don't drink everyday. We need you in good enough shape to get yourself and your weapon to the designated area when SHTF along with your mags and two canteens.

A single to 5 beers a night is average for me. It doesn't get me drunk but it does make it feel like I'm doing more than just watching tv or sitting on the computer. But if $$ it a little low I don't drink anything, its no big deal... I quit drinking 7 years or so ago... I took it up again in this last year or so... but only when I'm camping, in Reno at a casino... etc.. I don't drink anywhere near my wife (shell kick my ass). With the day I've been having since yesterday...today is a good day to leave town... Most reformed drinkers are just as bad as ex smokers... I cannot stand people telling me what i should do because of what they did....

How much or how often you drink has nothing to do with whether or not you are an alcoholic. What you DO when you drink is what determines if you have a problem. If you do things that cause problems in your life when you drink, no matter how often or seldom, you have a problem. I have now been sober for about the same number of years that I stayed drunk and have personal knowledge of the topic of this thread.

Do I drink everyday? Hell no....not since they invented the funnel![BD] I rarely tie one on anymore. I just don't recover from the hangover as quickly as I used to. I have a six pack spread over 2 weeks. Now of course when the 10th of November rolls around, providing I don't have to work on the 11th, I'll get shit faced for the ones who went before. Semper Fi
