I have to admit to being just computer literate enough to use AR15.com, but what do you mean by "hits" and "pings" and how can one tell that is happening?

Striker, my speaker wire is a duplex cord with a white line on one one of the wires(I imagine this is for phasing your speakers). So do I tape the wire with the white line over my right temple or do I tape the plain wire over my right temple?

Found my problem. I plugged the sucker into the wall outlet not my sound card. Thought I was gettin pinged but it was my head hitting the floor.......thanks Striker.

If you go to http://grc.com/dos/grcdos.htm It's a long read but informative, especially toward the end. I've been using ZoneAlarm and like it. KenS

I didn't hear any pings, but the voices in my head have stopped. Thanks! BTW-- Is noise bleeding normal using this method?
