Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Upper receiver ID and other question

Hello All,

Found a nice 16 In. bbl. upper ass'y at the gun show and I'm curious to know who made it.  The only markings visible to me is the stamp on the bbl. which say "S.S. 556" next to the front sights and that's it.  Also it seems like the A2 aperture rear sights was installed backwards, anybody out there know how to disassemble the A2 sights?
