The light is a Surefire Defender (old type - no constant on mode); The stock is a Speedfeed; mag extension is by Tac-Star; the sidesaddle, mag spring, follower, and safety are from Scattergun Technologies (before Wilson bought them); ammo is a mix of Federal Tactical 00 and slugs. I still plan to add some tritium ghost ring sights. Cell phone my ass!! I'll use a land line to report the burglary attempt. Dog is just as big black and ugly. (Gooood doggy!) |

I agree with c-rock though, with the safety on top, operating it from the pistol grip might be a little strange. I think I'd do without the pistol grip on a Mossy. |

The issue with cell phones is that they don't have a fixed location assigned to them. The operator can't trace the line like with a land line.
1) Window breaks in the middle of the night. 2) Dog barks 3) One push on a button lights the exterior lights and front room lights. 4) Grab the 1911-A1 .45 from the instant safe next to the bed. 5) Dial 911 on the phone and hand it to the wife. 6) Position myself between threat and wife. 7) Announce in a loud voice "I have a gun, I've called 911, get out of my house" 8) Count to ten and then shoot anyone left in the house. |
