Some idiot has climbed a crane tower in Atlanta with a high powered rifle.

The crane operator went up the crane around 6 a.m. this morning and was met by a man in a suit and a high powered rifle.

Supposedly the man told the crane operator he was with the FBI investigating the Gold Club, which is in view of the tower.

For those of you that don't know, the Gold Club owners are being tried for a number of things at the moment, fraud, prostitution, etc. etc.

I'm wondering what this high powered rifle is. I hope it turns out to be some type of funny looking .22 or something and not one of those evile deer hunting rifles!

Just heard that he's writing names on checks and dropping them to the ground.

Neal Boortz just suggested hooking up some electric lines to the crane and send a few 1,000 Volts up it to get his down! LOL!

Wow, it just never ends does it.

Just heard on the local news that they're not even sure that he's armed. Of course we all know how reliable that coverage is.

They are updating now. Saying the nutcase DOES NOT have weapon.

This is construction crane about 100+ high. Cops are talking to him via the crane operators cell phone.

More updates. They have turned the air conditioning off to the crane cab. Fruitcake wants the cops and news copters to back off.
