Sooner or later little Buddy or Champ is going to reach that point in his or her little life when it's time to do "The Humane Thing". The trip to and from the Veterinarian can be heartbreaking. Why put yourself and your family members through that over and over again with your family animals? Let DOG SNIPER eliminate "The Problem" for you. We will Stalk your dog for up to three days and take him or her out of commission when it is least expected. As an added bonus for total surprise this will be done from a distance of up to 800 metres out. http://dogsniper.freeservers.com/

LOL!!! What about cats or pet hamsters?

Being a dog lover that just went through the painful process of putting my dog to sleep, it is my humble opinion that I would find it much easier to empty a 30 rd. mag into the likes of you people. Nuff said.

NHRAMark, I know the feeling bud. If that is supposed to be a joke, I'am not laughing. If it's serious, it's demented.
Link Posted: 6/18/2001 8:07:22 PM EDT
My remark was directed at Clearfire, yes I know it's a joke, just pissed me off.
Link Posted: 6/18/2001 8:13:37 PM EDT
NHRAMark, don't think you understood my post. I'am agreeing with you. If the dogsniper site is a joke, Iam not laughing. If it's serious, it's demented!!
Link Posted: 6/18/2001 8:20:29 PM EDT
I post pics of cats as targets as a joke. but creating a whole site about snipering a dog is just plain fucked up.
Link Posted: 6/18/2001 8:26:11 PM EDT
THAT is wrong! I am with NHRAMark, even though this is a joke, it does not have any place here. If I were a non-gun person who wanted to learn about guns, etc. and I saw this, it would negatively reflect on ALL members of AR15.com. No need to be P.C., just have some common sense and don't act like a couple of bloodthirsty turds. Maybe what we need is a joke forum or something. If you people find this sh$t genuinely funny, you scare me. You SHOULD NOT own pets (you probably never have lost one, either) and firearms should be out of the question.[-!-] Tatto, at least YOUR comment was funny Coversix, Join the Foreign Legion or take a trip to the West Bank if you want to kill something. It least you'll have more of a challenge[-!-!-]. I don't want to flame, but there should be a place for this, and not in GD Urban

Dude, that's pretty harsh about wanting to unload 30 rounds into me for posting that URL. You are not the only one who has had to put a loved animal down. Ya ever think about that? It's a joke.
Link Posted: 6/18/2001 8:38:21 PM EDT
Well, I don't know about you guys but My neighbors got a really yappy poodle...So you know what...I just took a hit out on him! He's going to know it was from me,too because I got the bad dog package..... On a serious note If you can't take a friggin joke then that's too friggin bad! Jesus people! If you think it's for real you are very naive! Take a chill pill! John

Hey, ClearFire! Right after I got back from the SHOOT, my kids and the dog were in the backyard playing when "Bones" lets out with the puppy yelps from hell! I and the wife ran out the door, leaving my Mom on the phone to listen to it all... We checked out the dog and found a 3-4" gaping hole in his chest, caused by a collision with the freestanding water faucet. Bones is 10-mos./83lbs. of rambunctious Black Lab/German Shepherd/Husky. The faucet handle had doghair imbedded into it. Bones was panting; the kids were crying; my wife was freakin'; and Mom was still waiting on the phone. I told Mom what happened and we'd call her back. My wife called the Vet Emergency # and took him in while I watched the girls and put "things" away. My wife calls back in about an hour and says our "free dog" will cost $400-500 to repair. Bones had ripped the skin open; torn the muscles underneath; and almost punctured the chest cavity... I offered the notion of putting him down. She is really the one who takes care of the dog, and wouldn't hear of it. I'm glad she chose to get him help, 'cuz I love the galoot, too. This TOPIC is a couple days short, Bro! The Happy Ending? 'BONES LIVES...'

Ya, its pretty obvious it is a joke, sheesh. No offense, but some people need to lighten up and not take life and everything so seriously. I found it funny, to me the joke was not aimed at shooting dogs, it was aimed at the sniper mentality. Ya, I remember when we had to put down my dog, the one I grew up with. I cried my eyes out, but I got over it. Living things die sooner or later, that is nature, no reason to freak out about it. Life is too painful to take it seriously, so lighten up guys. I will never understand how people can be so easily offended.

Like I said, there is a place for everything. Everyone knows it is a joke. I didn't threaten anyone for this, either. I just think it is in bad taste. Most folks think of their pets as family, and in a way, they are. I will repeat this again for those who did not read my last post: This should be on another section or totally different BBS. There are some people who "just have dogs"(who really shouldn't have them) and then there are dog lovers, like myself. I put my 13 year old shep/husky mix to sleep last July. I WISH I could have spend 400.00-500.00 or any amount to save her and I'am not made of money. But no amount of money could save her. She was alot better than ANY person I've ever met! Some people just don't get it.

It's called a JOKE. If this offended you, for God's sake stay away from theonion, stickdeath, birdman, ect, ect. I thought it was pretty funny. I don't make fun of people, I'm a good scout, ect - but it was funny! btw - just spent $100 for food, chew flips, flavored rawhide, liver treats, toothpaste, ect for my 12 yr old and 1 yr old dogs....love 'em to death (pardon the pun). For goodness sakes - I sing to 'em and they sleep with me and the wife in our bed every night. I'm a sap for dogs. But it was still funny! Tate [0:)]

You must have way to much time on your hands to post such a message. I am not a animal rights activist or a Jesus freak, I am just a dog lover that has spent the last 25 years with a dog at my side. I am not a hunter, but I do respect the traditions and heritage that many hunters share. My dogs have been a part of the family for my whole life, so for you to post such a message would be the same to me to post a message stating that "Hey, Grandpa has been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer, help us end his misery, 800 yards clean.

My dad bought me and my future brothers a Collie / Sheppard mix when I was 2 years old. He lived to be 18. On his last day I brushed out his fur in the living room. My mom mixed up his formula and my middle brother fed him. I helped him to his feet and walked him out the door and let him lay down in the sun on his rug just outside the back door of the house. This was about 4 in the afternoon. By the time my dad came home from work at 5 the dog had passed away in his sleep. My dad didn't even change out of his suit, he just took the collar and leash, picked up the dog, and carried him to his car. He came back a couple hours later, his shoes were dirty and his pants were torn. He took the dog for a last walk, dad burried him somewhere out by by Silverado Canyon. This happened almost 20 years ago, and I can't bring myself to get a dog to this day. BusMaster, I know how you feel. One of my wifes cats was attacked by a neighbors dog (our cats are indoor cats, the dog dug out under the fence and ripped the sliding screen door apart to get the cat. This happened while I was living on base. My wife called me at work all freaked out. When I got home I found my wife holding the cat in a bloody towel, it was yowling. When I pulled back the towel to see how bad it was all I saw was the skin from just below the cats ear back behind its right front leg hanging back with a bunch of bite marks on it. That cost my neighbor $600 to fix plus fixing the screen door and getting the blood out of the living room carpet and him having his dog banned from the base. There was no question of putting the cat to sleep. I hope that your pup is going to be ok, and that whatever caused the injury will be gone. It's still just a joke guys, and this IS the GD board.

Well Said, Clearfire. Although this is "distasteful", look at all the other crap (Czechnian beheadings, pornography, racial slurs, slandering) that goes on in the G.D. I conclude when you accept or detest one, you must do the same to the others. The post description up to the hyperlink made it out to be a joke, clear as crystal. You click on the link, it's your own wrongdoing. I say this only because I am... [brown]Evil Jewbroni~[/brown]

Guys, most humor is predicated on someone else's pain. Most really funny humor is in severely bad taste. And almost ALL humor is offensive to someone. One of the problems we seem to have as a society is that we're WAY too sensitive about some things, and insensitive about others. Joke 'em if they can't take a f!ck. I thought it was in seriously bad taste. And funny.[:D]

I noticed a while back that I can watch Terminator kill 100+ with a smile, but when they put Old Yeller down I bawled. Must be because I've never had a pet "moviestar". My dad's property has a small graveyard of my childhood compadres (dogs, cats, hamsters), and I still smile thinking of the good times we had together. But, that was kinda funny....
Link Posted: 6/19/2001 6:39:31 AM EDT
It was a joke, right? Take it as one. It could have been funnier, though.
Link Posted: 6/19/2001 8:19:19 AM EDT
A joke? Right. Not very funny either...
Link Posted: 6/19/2001 11:09:44 AM EDT
That was fricken hilarious! LOL! You guys that are bothered by it are lacking intestinal fortitude. It was a joke. Do the gag commercials on Sat Night Live upset you too? I just showed it to the girl I work with and she's a PETA freak. She was even laughing.

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=22281 Also I have been active in animal rights for the past ten years. E-mail me if you want to know all that I have done for the cause, nlike some people who just talk about it I actually fucking do shit! John
