That steaming load of shit: it shall be unlawful for any person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a rifle capable of firing .50 caliber ammunition. So, .50 caliber muzzle-loaders? Is my .54 safe? It may actually be time to buy that .50 caliber rifle I've always thought about but have absolutely zero foreseeable use for. Launching expensive and thunderously loud middle fingers will have to be a good enough reason. Didn't read the rest of the bill to see if they narrow down that definition, or if it covers ammunition as well, because I don't care to. Hopefully it dies - not like the people have any say in the matter. |

And here we are. My 6.5CM will reach a mile but not with the energy I desire at that range. Do I go back to my 338 solution or jump to 50? I have never owned one but fired many and I just love that thump you can only get from a 50 being unleashed. We can govern ourselves and cartels are only in power because our own government put them there and keep them well.
