Most of the comedians I love have a Libertarian vibe. Not Moral Majority Conservative by any means (they're never funny). Definitely anti-government though.

Just a regular guy chillin on the street drinking and smoking. A day later I sat in studio for an Opie and Anthony show. Pretty epic NYC trip. |

Imo Kat Williams was correct when he said comedy comes from a dark place. Middle class white women dont. |

I stopped watching and/or listening to comedians years ago....that's when they turned "comedy" into being "woke" and/or turning into lesbians and/or sour bitches.
So, years ago, I was a fan of Lisa Lampanelli, Margaret Cho, Wanda Sykes, the Queens of Comedy (Sommore, Mo'Nique)...and some others. |

I saw a clip of a lesbian comic playing guitar and singing about being too liberal for Texas but too conservative for Oregon, she also did a great bit about subaru outbacks (which I drive). I do not remember her name, of course.

Lisa Lampanelli was pretty good on the old Comedy Central Roast.

Are any one of the above so called “funny” female comedians able to get through an entire set without talking about how much of a ho they are? I’m not trying to name call, but seriously. Every. Single. One.

There are no funny female comedians. They all only ever tell "jokes" about their period, being whores, lesbians, or absolutely shitting all over men.

One of my oldest and best friend from childhood is a stand up comedian. He came to Boise about 10 years ago and his schtick didn't work there. He was pretty unfunny, dude is funny as hell when we are just sitting around the table or campfire.

Insomniac was one of the best travel shows ever. On female comedians, Madigan, Bamford and such are funny. There are a decent number of funny women comedians, but they also tend not to make a lifestyle of neurotic and some are just around for a while and then quit. Elaine Boosler was funny in the 80s and early 90s, no idea if she's still around. |

Generally not a big stand-up fan, but I was on a road trip one night and was flipping XM channels. Hit the comedy channel where they were playing a bit from this Canadian chick. Not sure if it was because it was just a nice respite from sheer boredom of driving at night, but she had me in tears.

I have women in my personal life that are low-ley funny. But it's not as socially acceptable for women to be class clowns so it's harder for them to be good comedians.

Kind of a Southern church lady persona. I agree with Rita Rudner. She was a bit dry, but funnier than a lot of male comedians. Comedy isn't what it used to be. I watched the Joan Rivers roast from 2009, the only funny lines came from Joan and her daughter. The whole cancel culture crap killed it. Comedians have to be careful what they say or they'll get attacked. Maybe not right away, but at some point. What happened to Kevin Hart hosting the Academy Awards was a symptom of the decline. Over a decade ago I heard comedians were hesitant to perform on college campuses because of backlash from jokes. |
