That puts it at 12 X class flares total now which I believe is a new record for the most X class flares ever from a single sunspot region.

Solar Orbiter which had an unobstructed view of 3664 measured the X3.48 from this morning at X9.

And we had another X flare on the opposite limb of X2.99. That spot that produced it will be rotating into view in the next couple days.

There also some huge filaments facing earth as well. Hopefully they don’t release our way.
