Yea. They're awesome.

And they'll pick up everything i've tried it on from FA subsonic 9mm, up to 73mm traveling at about 1300fps.

Amazing little unit.

I'm very interested in these, but it's hard to convince myself they're worth the $600 they're asking for them.

I'll definitely be getting one when my Labradar dies.

They are pricey, and if you dont need chrono data or rarely use chronos its hard to stomach the price. A Caldwell does just as well for 1/5 the price. But man....If you do realod or do need velocity data even semi regulary the ease of use and compact size of the Garmin makes it easily worth the cost.

Then hold out for a $200 LabRadar. Because you'll be able to find one at that point by the end of summer at the latest.

LR works but is a bit of a PITA to set up and fiddle with.  The Garmin is literally point and shoot.

Both work. Garmin is easier by far.

But $400 is a bunch of cash.

Happy to have sold my LR and gone with the Garmin.

You won the internet then because $500 is as good as it's been anywhere I've seen and they really have no reason to lower the price since they're selling like hotcakes. Congrats on the purchase you're gonna love it.

Wow.

Once again Scheels proves to be the best retailer.

I love them guys. They price matched a Volquartsen Scorpion for me back in 2018. Almost a $400 markdown but they did it. I didn't even bother looking elsewhere from that point forward. They were good guys there.

Luckily I just clipped one of the sky screen supports. It taught me to get the scope on target then pull the bolt or upper off and look through the bore to make sure I wasn’t going to hit anything. What a giant waste of time, I can’t believe someone would chose that over the Garmin for any amount of price difference.

BUYER BEWARE!! The Garmin Chronos run on magic. So if you're not into supporting witchcraft get yourself a LR that runs on clunky bullshit.

Dang. Talk about a deal of the century. Haven’t seen anything below $499 until the Botach $486 (which I just picked up from the FedEx I had it held at).

Man, this thing is compact. Can’t wait to take it to the range.
