Great memory of those movies. My dad worked nights most of my life. I was about 16 an we just got Directv so like 96 or so. I  Walk in one Saturday morning, and dad is up. Usually only saw him a lot on the weekend. Anyway, as soon as I walk in he tells me im not going out that night, im grounded. Come straight home after work. Im pissed, I made straight As with a job. I was pissed all day.
I come home from work and the grill is lit, its like 4:30 wtf. I come in, and dad is prepping steaks and sides, that was a birthday meal. Now its REALLY WTF.
AMC had a Dirty Harry marathon that night, my dad , mom, little brother and me, ate steak and watched Dirty Harry movies till 2 in the morning.
 
It was great, I own the box set now. I bought a DVD player when they first came out, we had family movie night every Sunday. Each person picked a movie every week.

Dad's been gone for a few years, once a year ill grill a steak and break out the box set.
