Any of the "presentation" knives sold at almost every truck stop in the country. They look like a regular knife, but use butter soft chinesium steel and if you grip the handle hard enough to actually try and cut something, you rub the pictures off.
ETA-at least all that goofy, gimmicky shit from major companies will usually cut something without breaking. |

Some of y'all need to shut your whore mouths. Easy to conflate single-purpose and poor-for-utility in the knife world. Though I will agree with the Hibben haters. And who used to make that Ek style dagger with the spinning twin rings for your middle and ring fngers in the middle of the handle? I guarantee one of you has one.

I remember drooling over the dragon daggers at the mall and pouring through a sword catalogue I borrowed from a friend at age or 10 or 11. I put a lot of time & thought into which sword I would purchase. I don’t remember my mom dissuading me, but there was zero chance in hell of me ever getting a sword.
Joke ended up on her though because I soon after discovered paintball, airsoft, and guns. |

Not how it works. If a sword says “Stainless steel” (eg. 99.99% of the ones in those Asian mall stores), it’s a decorative piece. We call those things ‘wall hangers’ or SLOs (Sword Like Objects). Swords that are made to actually cut with (eg. The ones used in HEMA cutting competitions, or Tameshigiri in Japanese sword arts), are made of carbon steel for a reason. |
