View Quote Very nice. I was going to look for tonight's launch from Colorado Springs but when I mapped several places that have seen it like El Paso, I am too far away to have a chance to see it. I did see the Crew-7 re-entry. |

I pulled out my mirrorless for tonights launch and I got my settings guess close to what he did! Was gonna use iso-800, f5.6, 1/60s-1/100s since it is a bright object moving fast in a dark environment. Attached File Attached File |

I think I'll just use my full-frame DSLR body with a 300 f/4 lens and see what I can get. The biggest problem I have today is clouds. It may become hopeless in the next couple of hours. |

I spent the last couple of days driving around that shithole Los Angeles. If we can see the jellyfish tonight, it’ll make my trip to Commiefornia suck a lot less and I’ll score some big points with the girls working the desk at my hotel. |
