Yeah I feel really safe now. Some psychotic woman is the court system. What a waste of resources.

She was obviously not going to calm down and go on about her day. She was going to continue being a problem and a drain on the limited resources available to the cops on the street. She needed to be in an environment where she could be monitored and allowed to calm down. Her swatting her hand and phone at the cop was a good enough pretense for the arrest so that she could be brought to the jail, rather than allowing her to continue disrupting the hotel's ability to do business. Then, she spit at the cop while in the hospital. In most, if not all, states, that's considered assault.

Putting her into the court system is probably the best thing for her. She obviously came up through the juvenile social worker system but aged out and is now left to her own devices. She's clearly not capable of managing her own mental health care or other basic needs, such as shelter or support, so getting her into the legal system may be the event which triggers an involuntary confinement to get her stabilized and probation to ensure she stays on the meds she needs in order to function as a member of society.

Remember, cops exist to help people. At first, their job was to help the social worker get the mentally distressed lady out of her government-issued work car. Then, the cops get to help the businesses and other local inhabitants by removing a mentally-distressed person from an environment where she would only serve to be a nuisance to others and likely a danger to herself and others. Then, they get to help the mentally distressed person get the help they obviously need but are unwilling or unable to get on their own.

Maybe not marry her, but some dude is going to be locked into 18 years of giving her money to pay for the kid(s) she pops out and will almost certainly end up with DV charges (real or falsified) and a lengthy custody battle trying to protect his kid from their crazy mother. Ask me how I know...

The girl needed help undoubtedly she has parents who are either dead or in jail. She grew up in foster care (government) and she hasn't been made ready for adulthood. I think it's time to deregulate the foster program. The government isn't made to care-its made to grow.

It's time for people to start learning personal responsibility. This girl recently turned 18, and this is already her second arrest since then.

Like a previous poster said, drop her off in some 3rd world shithole and see how quickly she's able to change her whole attitude.

I think she was raised by soft parents without any boundaries. She was never told "no" and never held accountable for her childhood behavior. The result is a mental child in an adult's body.

I would encourage everyone to apply a little empathy for this girl. Most kids at 18 are still in high school. Yet she probably grew up in assisted living group homes that were for profit-not for the welfare of the children. Her only means of survival is her body and her mental health makes her only suitable for prostitution   She will end up dead or in prison without some form of stable assistance.

Unfortunately, tragically……….there is .000001% chance of her ever being anything other than a deficit on society.  IF she lives another 20 years, the wreckage she causes will be many many millions of dollars of liabilities to the productive members of society.

It’s a lose-lose situation.  A society is judged by how the most fucked up individuals are treated.

Her chances are slim.  She needed parenting and guidance from an early age.  I doubt she got either.  If I interpreted the video correctly she was arrested four an outstanding warrant while stripping.  This leads me to believe her only asset is her body.  She obviously is intelligent but has mental health issues, probably trauma.  Who knows, the importance of her formative years cannot be understated.

^^This, her possibilities are low.  In the best case scenario she will get pregnant and actually want to make a better life for her child but not have the skills to do so and will undoubtedly fuck up her child not for a lack of caring - she just doesn't have the skills to focus her limited resources on making a better life for herself and child.  She will probably end up dead or sex traffic or in prison soon.  I feel really sorry for her.

Possibly, or possible that she simply refused to follow rules and that she stopped paying attention to anything her parents did and DHHS wouldn't allow them to properly discipline her. After about age 14, Human Services pretty much tells parents to "figure it out on your own", but reminds them they can't use physical means at all to deal with her.

The police car indicates they’re in Las Cruces so there’s a possibility something akin to that could happen to her if she ends up homeless.

The title of the video is pretty misleading so people can be forgiven for not knowing she was in foster care. It sounded like she was staying in a hotel just prior. It sounds like she doesn’t have reliable housing.

I agree, she probably never had much of a chance at a good life, probably just from growing up in the foster system (regardless of mental health).  However, I still feel worse for the cops for having to deal with her shit over and over again.  I'm sure they've not seen the last of her, either.  :(
