Oh, if that house could talk...

There is a part of me that house just speaks to. Wouldn't change a thing.

There appears to be a wall of fame in the first pic.
I thought maybe those were the ladies he scored with. Kept pictures on his wall like trophies.

Rice invented Hawaiian Tropic in a garbage can in his garage in 1969, and eventually sold the company to Playtex in 2007 in a deal valued at $1.9 billion.

I always enjoy these kinds of stories.

Interesting story from rags to riches for sure.

Although I love reading about the stories, he didn't sell the company for 1.9 billion. He sold Hawaiian tropic to Playtex for 83 million. Then Playtex brands were sold to Energizer Holdings for 1.9 billion

Incredible story for sure and that guy probably lived a hell of a life similar to Hugh Hefner

being an 80's teen was fun

Cannonball Run Countach roars back into the spotlight, just as it did in the movie

One such enthusiast was Ron Rice, founder of Hawaiian Tropic sun care products. Rice was an early proponent of product placement, and he paid to have Hawaiian Tropic shown on screen. He was also allowed to hang out on the set, and upon seeing the Countach for the first time, he immediately bought it from Bernius.

Ron Rice the founder of Hawaiian Tropic was on the set of the movie as he supplied Hawaiian Tropic girls for the movie (by the pool scene) where the Hawaiian Tropic car was ditched in the pool by Terry Bradshaw.

The car was owned by a doctor from Sarasota, Ron bought it from the doctor right off the movie set.

Your fellow 308 owner (me) restored the Cannonball Countach.

Maybe I should restore the 308 when its found ;)

Given that he obviously mounts his souvenirs on the walls.....and there are a bunch of portraits of HT girls on the walls....

...I'd say it's highly likely he bagged a lot of them.
