He sold Hawaiian tropic to Playtex for 83 million. Then Playtex brands were sold to Energizer Holdings for 1.9 billion Incredible story for sure and that guy probably lived a hell of a life similar to Hugh Hefner

I dig it. Now our dogs and cats would destroy most of that stuff in short order
, but I still dig it.Lots of folks buy lots of cool shit over their lifetimes, but it seems the challenge is in keeping it nice and displayed well, for continual enjoyment. It seems this gent figured that out. IMO in that particular layout though, it would be a bear to keep clean. |

Cannonball Run Countach roars back into the spotlight, just as it did in the movie  One such enthusiast was Ron Rice, founder of Hawaiian Tropic sun care products. Rice was an early proponent of product placement, and he paid to have Hawaiian Tropic shown on screen. He was also allowed to hang out on the set, and upon seeing the Countach for the first time, he immediately bought it from Bernius. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/cannonball-308.269248/ Ron Rice the founder of Hawaiian Tropic was on the set of the movie as he supplied Hawaiian Tropic girls for the movie (by the pool scene) where the Hawaiian Tropic car was ditched in the pool by Terry Bradshaw. The car was owned by a doctor from Sarasota, Ron bought it from the doctor right off the movie set.
