hey boland -
as i have been labelled a u.n. supporting 'weenie'- i just thought i'd pop in and say 'hey' - too bad you live in the other 'ca' - i'd buy you a beer! cool pics! steve ps guys - i have a confession to make. when i first got my land rover - i was going to drive around with UN decals on the doors just to see how fast the 'paranoids' would get pics of me driving around l.a. i even thought of painting a 'fritz' light blue and leaving it on the dash as PROOF!! undeniable that the UN was taking over! my sister rolled her eyes and said "how fast do you want to get shot?" i had no idea how fanatical anti- un'ers were. gentlemen with honour and respect, please travel a little outside the country and get more perspectives on life - i swear to you that this un paranoia is a u.s. phenomina, and completely unwarrented. |

Actually we have a fair amount of UN phobia here too. I have a love/hat erelationship with the UN - not only is it ridiculously corrupt, they could quite literally fuck up a wet dream. When we got a tasking to go to Rwanada - where we could really have helped. The ninnies in NY were too busy debating important issues such as the per diem rate etc. that the civy staff would get. So hey what a million or two casualties compared to th eimportance of working out what some clerk gets to be reimbursed for rats and quaters? That is why I just can't take the UN as a real threat to gun owners - they will be to bust squabling over how much they'd pay themselves and who would do the accounting of guns collected etc. I still support the humanitarian objectives. |

beekeeper - my sister(plural actually i have three) who told me i was an idiot surely got most of the cranial genes of the family. she's certified dive master, owns her own house in an nice part of town, can write her own salary ticket in the industry of her profession, has a strong stock portfolio (that did not get nuked with the tech crash) and can out drink and out burb any one i know. being half japanese she is also considered a 'hottie' (but being my sister i don't look at her that way). i'm afraid she would be able to chew imbro up and spit him out like a chunk o chaw.
