I should’ve invested in car washes.

That angle from the rear quarter looks tough.

@car_wash_guy

Were you at C&O just outside of Atlanta, yesterday?  I wasn't able to go but their FB page posted pics and one of the Turbos looked just like yours.

Thanks everyone!  Carmine Red is the Best red!  This is my first, and most surely not my last, P car!

My dad had an old 356 and then a Carrera when I was a kid.  I'll always remember those leisurely weekend drives and talking to random people!

Here's the Turbo S, obviously the center caps are painted but color and wheels look pretty spot on.

LOL, username checks out

I almost went 991 GT3, but I couldn’t get over the old tech interior. NA engine was great, but 992S moves. The new 992 interior got me, and I love the exterior, most distinctively…the first 911 model with an entire rear-cross-bar, rear tail light. The PDLS headlights. It sets the generations apart…entirely more modern. To each their own. There’s still the Cayman/GT4 if you want smaller.

Eta - and the 992S with a few very minor mods, holds it own.
991 GT3RS owner had 1000+ more track miles than me last year. The cars were very equal.

I’m a 2020, and I do have the original release Soul cats that did have the issue. Soul said 2020’s were less likely to have the issue, but now sell an updated version that doesn’t.

I’ve put down some track days, and there’s one very taxing track (lots of shifting/tight corners) (club track, with no time limit) that has set off the CEL twice after about 25min into the session - doesn’t do anything to the car. I had a code reader, pulled off track, checked code, cleared it - never came back remainder of the track day.
At our larger track (PIR) it’s never given me an issue. And driving around town no issue. Soul claims they’d fix it, but I won’t worry about it if it happens twice a year in very harsh conditions.

Their new cats are throwing CELs even after 2 revisions. I’m testing a 3rd revision soon.

Ah no shit!!! Thankfully Soul customer service is good! That really sucks though! I’m sorry - that’s frustrating.
I’ll make sure to not recommend them until the issue is fixed.

I was one of the guys who got stuck with a ADM ($5k) and we ended up getting it knocked down to do the Expel so I won’t get to drive it until next week.  Salesdude kept it as they come off the carrier and we peeled plastic off of her.

Beautiful! If I could order a new 911 (within reason), I would go for a T, I may still sell my SC and look for a used 911 T but I'm struggling with that, I really do love my SC. Who knows, I'm all over the place. LOL

It kinda sucks because it isn’t like you can test drive them to know if it’s worth the hassle.  I optioned the manual gear box and 18 way seats and it does feel like it’s all business but I won’t be able to give an feedback except looks after spending $136k plus all the fees and taxes.

I’m not sure, it’s plain Jane.  Manual transmission, slick top with 360 surround, LCA and the 18 way seats.  I opt for the back seats.  No leather, stitching or other options like Bose.  I did add the wagon wheels because my wife likes them.  I probably would have added other options but they get expensive quick.

Early 992s don’t seem to have the problem, but Porsche seems to be tightening the tolerances each new year.

Savage.  I wish I had the ability to do that.  I have had access to a Z8, 456GT, M3, E63 and now my 911T.  The Z8 was a sweet car, that V8 just matched that car perfectly.
I’ve never driven a “supercar” or whatever they call a McLaren but I’m guessing it’s over the top like the design of the body.  The few GT3RS cars I’ve seen at my dealership look like all business.

I totally understand. I spent just shy of 20K on options for mine, and I dialed back from what I built in the configurator. If my T would have been an S instead, I probably would have spent another 5K, easy, since I would have gone leather interior.

As it sits, I'm going to have to spent another $1000 on retrofitting the FE since I had to delete it, back when it was going to be a European Delivery.. Grr..

Oh boy, this has the potential to become a shitshow:

My car is on the boat that went to Mexico first, and is supposed to be in the port of Houston right now, so the car can make it to PECLA for a mid March delivery. If this has to get pushed back, I'm hopeful that PEC will let me know sooner than later so I can cancel my travel and get a full refund for hotel and airfare.

Couple of my favorite roads.

Got an updated Track Your Dream email that my car made it to Houston early Friday afternoon.

Late Friday afternoon, I got an email from PCNA that my car will be delayed due to an importation issue.
No details or timeframe was provided in that message beyond what has been published in the press already.

I see posts on rennlist that folks who have already taken delivery of their cars, got this same email.

Oh boy.
