Many of you may know that AK-47.net is for sale for a large amount of money. Here is a breakdown of how much it would cost to start a web site.

Dedicated Server: $170 a month
Bulletin Board Software: $160 for Vbulletin

We have been working on a new AK site for some time now. So there is no need to pay $5000 for his site. We were not going to roll out this site until July, but we feel we need to fill the void AK-47.net has left. The board will be up and running next week at the latest.
