I was thinking that was the cleanest "natura" kills I have ever seen

Better that having your intestines pulled out while you're still squirming.

Yep, mother nature is a cruel heartless bitch.  At least it was over quickly.

More specifically, Kazakhs.

Falconry is their heritage. Very interesting hunting culture.

That's fucking bad ass!!! I knew Golden & Bald Eagles could kill some fairly large game, but I had no idea they could take out wolves.

So how many eagles vs a Silverback?

Pretty smart using the environment to help catch prey like that. I like how he looks around after he lands by the goat. Probably checking for other predators that are willing to move in on the kill.

Exactly. Unlike what Disney and the tree huggers want us to think. Nature is cruel. Almost everything dies a horrible death.

Birds are smart when it comes to using the environment to their advantage.
Not in the same league as the Eagle but all winter the gulls at the beach will take muscles at low tide, fly over the campground and drop them on the campground roads to break open

That Mongolia vid is pretty cool. Powerful birds.

We have had them kill a few new calves. Some think eagles only eat fresh kills. They do prefer it but like already mentioned, they aren't that picky at times. I set a game cam near a horse we had die expecting to get some good coyote pics. Over the course of a month in the summer the meat was all eaten. I only had one coyote visit one night to eat out the ass a little. Every morning at daybreak like clockwork about 50 crows would show up and go to work on it. About 9am every day a couple huge golden eagles would arrive and scatter the crows. The eagles would really rip that horse open exposing new meat. They would eat their fill and leave. Crows would get back on it and all be gone by noon. Magpies would hit it for awhile. This went on till it was only bones and some hide.

I had a dump site for skinned carcasses on our property. A couple times while coming in with more skinned coyotes I'd scare off eagles that would take flight with a coyote carcass. Not sure how far they would get with it as it was in trees but they would carry it far enough to get out of sight and 50' in the air.

Yeah, I sorta knew that. "Sorta" because I know birds fly and eagles are extremely powerful birds but not too much more than that.

But in a couple clips you can see the wolf still alive and fighting and then it's all over. Did the eagle flip around and break the neck or was it an asphyxiation or did it just teabag Homes to death out on the steppe?

Maybe all three?
May have ripped it's neck open and severed its spine.
Their talons are huge and sharper than knives.
