I'm processing pics and video now, and will be updating as I can.
Water was a few inches deep when I shot the video, it's gotten worse since then. Some areas already knee deep or worse. We're expecting it to get even worse here at our place. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I'll be updating as I can, stay tuned for more.

Water coming in the house now. Not from the flooding, it's coming in from above. The rain broke something. Ugh. Damage control time.

Doesn't look bad, yet. I hope you made it through without any damage. Good luck.
BTW, what happened to Intramuros? I was there in 1994 and it was well-kept and touristy. I looked at some recent pics and parts of it look like Tondo. What gives? |

Those may be what you saw. If you are familiar with Tondo, you'd be interested to know they cleaned all the squatters off the north end of Roxas up by the port. Both sides and all lanes are now open. That was a surprise. |

According to NHK news there is a huge typhoon brewing that is going to hit Taiwan on Friday and China on Sat.

Malabon is only a (very) few feet above Manila Bay - water has nowhere to go.

Mid day update - the water is kinda yo-yoing. The rain is on again and off again. The water goes almost down, then surges back up with the rain.
Some areas are still knee deep or higher. Most areas are ankle or less. At least around here. Cleanup is ongoing, but we still expect that it can get worse. |

10:30pm here now and the storms and rain continues. The flooding is still at a minimum, for now. Here's hoping it stays that way and people can recover without much loss.
