I'm worried the Supreme Court is lost.

It's hard to imagine that Kennedy and Ginsburg can hold out, or want to hold out, for 3 more years. I'm desperately hoping they can/will, but it seems unlikely. It's just so sad that everything we baby boomers fought so hard for, especially choice, will very possibly be completely dismantled in the near future.

If the worst happens and the court goes hard right for a generation, or two, perhaps we can combat it with legislation. But this 100% depends on taking back the House and Senate. Praying for the best case scenario, but very, very concerned.

Good thing for them that everyone on the right is altruistic enough to just want good, constitutionally-minded justices on the Court who would never dream of legislating from the bench

Hydrocodone makes me terribly nauseous, and tramadol makes me hallucinate. No thanks, opioid painkillers. I'd rather hurt.

I didn't know AJ's wife trusted him to drive a motorcycle she was riding!

I'm not allowed to get a motorcycle.

How am I not shocked in the least

It has a lot to do with having kids. Even my Dad, who owned motorcycles since he was a kid gave them up after he almost got run over with my sister on the back.

He had a sweet early 70's BMW he built from parts, too.

Unfortunately, we both have friends who have died on them. Some from other's mistakes, some just freak accidents.

One of Duckski's good friends was in a motorcycle wreck at 19 years old, broke his back. He'd always been a real motivated, straight laced kid, but after he got the news that he'd never walk again, he gave up and drowned his sorrows in drugs and booze. Pulled a gun on Duckski while in a rage one night, after which they were no longer friends. Last I heard, he had a pretty severe infection in his spine and sacrum and was in long term acute care and not expected to recover.
