It seems there are tons of good options on the market today. I've always been rather fond of XS big Dots for my home defense pistols, but the Trijicon HDs are really growing on me. I particularly like them with the contrasting orange front and yellow rear dots. The Ameriglo offerings also look nice at a good price point. I also like the Warren sights that feature the dot over dot sight picture. What else is out there worth checking out?

Most of our glocks have Trijicon HD's but the Ameriglo UC is much more carry friendly. The HD has a sharp corner on the rear sight that will cut into your body depending on how you carry.

Noted. I carry AIWB so sharp corners could be an issue.

I am really liking the looks of these Ameriglo Pro I-Dots....and they are far less expensive than other similar options. I think I might have to give these a try on the new Glock 19 I picked up a couple weeks ago.

I-dots and similar sights.   I don't like the 3-dot sights.

Haven't used a set I didn't like. Usually go with what's on sale honestly.

Recently that's been Ameriglo tritium front and black serrated rear or I dot. My M&P40 has factory night sights. Used Meprolight and Triji as well.

I've been wanting to try the Truglo TFO for a long time now too.

Just be sure to get one with a rear you can rack off your belt.

Paint the white part around the front big dot with neon colored nail polish of your choice.  Get a real fine brush to make it easier to paint within the lines.

Kinda favor the Heinie figure 8 dot. Have the XS sights on one gun but not fav. POA/ POI takes a few to get used to.

I use the sights that the gun comes with, not sure what brand they are. Most of my pistols are Sig 1911 variants and most of em have night sights.
