Even if you don't like rap, you should watch this video of Hopsin. Highlights:
Are you one? For always busting your tool, with nothing to lose, or something to prove, to homies up in your crew. Is it because you selling drugs to get loot And brag about how done been shot and stabbed, like it's fun to be you? Hopsin - ILL MIND OF HOPSIN 5 |

Like Dr. Dre and the Wu-Tang? Found that both really irk the useless homogenized bieber wannabes trying to take over our area. If it takes nonstop gansta rap and proudly waving the Stars and Bars of Freedom to get rid of them - I'm down for that.
Free speech is free speech. |

I like old school rap from EPMD and Eric B and Rakim, still the best flow MC ever, to political rap even if when Chuck D tries to sound intelligent in an interview it's clear he has very little actual education. The first wave of gangster rap is great. NWA was just a boy band in different packaging but I will certainly be able to spit out Fuck the Police until the day I die. Rap started to suck in the 90s when it became nothing but about weed. As that became nothing but drinking cough syrup and slurring auto tuned words I couldn't listen to it anymore. Today's rap is virtually entirely garbage, entirely unlistenable with very few exceptions.

More like a symptom. Rap is degeneracy, just a musical variant. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Asking Arfcom about rap is like asking a black person about country music.

Too bad Brother Ali, Immortal Technique, and Jedi Mind Tricks are anti-whitey, anti-Christian, and anti-western civilization. They are good rappers though. Lupe seems to be pulled to that side occasionally but tends to snap out of it. He seems like a genuinely good guy. Atmosphere is good. All leftists though.

Let me clarify my stance, IMO rap is NOT music.
With that out of the way, I loath and appose gangster rap. If however non-gangster rap is something someone else wants to listen too, that's fine. |

Run The Jewels - Close Your Eyes (And Count To F**k) feat. Zack de la Rocha (Official Video) Great track/ video is kick ass. Im all for GOOD rap, gangsta or not. But most of the newer shit sucks, horrible actually. |

I don't believe I can adequately voice how much I loathe the ridiculous noises that supposedly passes as music called rap.

Only if the lyrics are legit and the beat is good.
Lil Dicky is one of my favorites. Another one that hasn't been mentioned is Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover: Childish Gambino - Freaks and Geeks (HD Music Video) |

Absolute garbage
All of it I refuse to support filth that is degenerate and contradicts every moral I try to stand for. How can grown men with a family ride around listening to that shit?? Sure in the 90s when I was a stupid teenager I listened to some rap music but I stopped being a boy and became a man. |

If you like noises I recommend Whale noises, much better than ghetto noises. they wuz kangs of the ocean before evil white males came along and conquered their domains.

View Quote Also see by him "You Never Know", a song about a thug who gives up his criminal life because he loves a girl who then breaks up with him inexplicably. He goes back to banging, gets put in prison and goes to see her when he gets out only to find out from her mother and a beyond the grave letter she died from AIDS (blood transfusion). She broke up with him to spare him the pain of seeing her slowly die. Jedi Mind Tricks has some great music as well. "Uncommon Valor: A Vietnam Story" is ridiculously good. Storytelling rap is a far cry from the "fuck bitches in da club" garbage that passes for rap these days. |

One of my favorites of all time. Immortal Technique may be a conspiracy douche but he makes some sick music. I find it comical how butthurt people get about what others like or dislike. Who gives a fuck what other people like or do? I should play some of the electronic music I listen to for some of our more conservative members |

I grew up during those wonderful times, NYC was a mixture of "jamming" (hip-hop), punk rock and disco. I can say I liked all of them

I really don't give a fuck what you listen to. Some people here have shit taste, some have great taste; as long as you support 2A, RKBA, EBRs, Freedom, Democracy & The American Way, you're my kinda guy (no homo...not that there's anything wrong with that).
