Why does all the corn in Nebraska lean to the right?  'Cause Iowa sucks.

A new zoo opened in Iowa. They put up a fence around Counciltucky.

ETA: my current state is actually worse

lol. If the bottom row of counties left Iowa and went to Missouri, the IQ of both states would go up.

To be fair the concrete is white so it doesn't really look wet and they didn't put cones around the entire patch section so I can see how the driver would have thought it was dry.  I am the forgiving type though

I generally consider anywhere south of I-80 to be part of Missouri.

For a few years I worked for a company that built the canopies over gas pumps, you wouldn't believe how many people I've seen drive right past the cones and warning tape and right into holes dug for tanks, over parts and equipment or right under a ladder where someone is welding and try to pump gas.  It's like some people's IQ's decrease by 50% when they get behind the wheel of a car.

Since I moved to Iowa 4 years ago, the winters have been mild as fuck. I rarely drive, everything is walking distance from my place, and in 4 winters, I've rarely even brought out a real wintercoat. Usually a sweatshirt is good enough. A couple times I've worn the heavy coat, but it's definitely never been needed multiple days or weeks in a row.

I think the area in Kansas I moved from has gotten more snow since I moved than Iowa.

Meh.  I'm surprised it's not a local driver.  Lincoln drivers are the biggest bunch of tards I've seen behind the wheel.

We run thru Iowa a lot in the winter, spend most of it on I80, between the Northeast and Northwest. Wife has thyroid issues and the cold really bothers her so she doesn't get out of the truck unless she needs to.

I have dreamed of owning some land in Iowa for years. It's those monster Whitetails you have up there!

My sister in law did the same thing. Drove around offset barricades, through freshly poured cement. Got turned into her insurance, they covered the damage and her car-and went after the county work crew for the money! Apparently there's a law saying if the road is truly impassable it has to be blocked, not just marked. The fact that she was able to drive through the concrete was proof that the road wasn't blocked, so it was the county's fault. I gave her a whole bunch of

Come on up, big deer, lots of them. We need more killed.

ETA-You want to see REAL stupidity? See my HTF thread. 30 ton semi, bridge rated for 3 tons. The first photo is mine, the second, farther down the thread, was the newspaper. My photo was taken from right about where the semi is dangling in the later shot.

You've got one. Bring a nonresident tag and come to my in-laws' farm. Saw a BIG buck last month while turkey hunting, as well as a couple nice ones that weren't as big.

And 2 out of 3 of us got our turkey.
