With gun sales slumping it beggars belief that doing anything to provoke gun owners would be remotely a good thing to consider. You have to think they are sitting around hoping a factory in Croatia can build them a time machine.

Hit the Springfield FB page. I put a lot of time and money into my SA 1911, but it's headed for the back of the bottom shelf in my gun safe now. Just yesterday my son was asking what to buy for a ccw and I told him an XD was a good choice. Now I'm thinking I'd rather just give him my Colt Mustang +2 stainless than let him send money to those twats.

They deserve the one star reviews for neutering their custom shop alone.

i have 2 trps, was looking at adding something else but not know

wow comments are pretty angry....why would these manufacturers think this would be anything but the end of their businesses in America? whats going on with Rock River Arms? View Quote I mean Trump just went to the NRA dinner. First time in what 30 years and these two companies throught kissing up to a state gov banning rights was a good idea. |

Welp it was either a TRP or DW Valor for my next 1911 before moving on to the heavy hitters.
Looks like i'll be getting a DW. Fuck em'. |

The gun industry has many mercenaries that profit from private owners but will shank them at any moment.
__________, because you suck, and we hate you. -HK, because we won't sell to you. -Colt, because we will redesign our rifles to make pivot and fire control pins intentionally incompatible with the market. -Ruger, because Bill. The company seems to have redeemed itself. -S&W because Clinton lock. Redemption as above after a heavy corporate cost. -The company that shall not be impugned but is named after an Ancient Greek city, because Dale Monroe and Jody Weis. There's a deep and troubling rabbit hole on that one. -H-S Precision because Lon Horiuchi. -Springfield Armory and RRA for circling the wagons behind the scenes while publicly giving weak token supporting statements about private gun owners. |

I'd like to know why so many gun companies stay in anti-gun/high tax states.

Gee, moving to Iowa or Missouri would have been fairly painless. Even making the threat to move and not following through would have been a better plan that what they did. Both companies are going to found out just how many people take their 2A right seriously.
I like my XDs but not enough to continue to buy from a company that is willing to collude with the gun grabbers in an attempt to benefit their bottom line. |

You know what's funny? All these people angry about SA being in cahoots with anti-2a politicians for political favors.... rushing out to a well known anti-2a website (facebook) to show just how angry they are about a company supporting anti-2a policies. Give me a break people. View Quote |

Yet I'm considered an asshole tard because I think S&W should have been run to the ground for their shenanigans.... Maybe if an example had been made, lessons would have been learned and remembered. But no. These cocksucking dealmakers will apologize, cry the crocodile tears, and in 6 months, a year from now maybe, their fucking apologists will tell us how it's stupid to continue to make them pay for their mistake, how they're "one of us", blah blah blah..... Even before they did this, they said to themselves, "it worked out pretty good for S&W in the long run, it'll work for us too" View Quote |

I'm just hoping someone decides to offload a nice range officer for a song.

I've always been a pretty hardcore Springfield 1911 fan. I think the next time I get to wanting a new one I'll try out Ruger's SR1911.

It looks like "reviews" have now disappeared from their facebook page.

It was brutal, they were getting hammered. I was just about to type up my own hit piece when it got the plug pulled.

What a bunch of chicken shit losers SA are.
Couldn't take the heat, so left the kitchen. Word is out about them, they're fucked. |
|
Well isn't this a bad situation. Both of my carry guns are SA and I've been wanting a 1911 range officer
|

Good,
I didn't even think about looking for a SA facebook page... welp off to add to the disapproval. HAH! looks like they pulled the page, cowards. ETA: It's just that link, their main page is still up, but I'm seeing a lot of hate being thrown on it. |
|
|
|
I guess they think they are too big to fail. We shall see.
BTW, I just saw some ads here for SA. Not sure what the Arfcom owner can do to have them removed. |

Very poor marketing decision by Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms.
ETA I've never been interested in any products by either company. |
|
|
View Quote I'll forgive Rock River and Springfield Armory as well, after their assets and trademarks are sold to new owners. Until then they can both drink from the toilet. Too bad, my wife wanted one of the new Springfield XDe s for Mothers Day. |
