Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords says the nation needs a president who is serious about preserving the rights of gun owners while also finding solutions to gun violence. And she contends Donald Trump is not that president.
Giffords says the majority of Americans want commonsense solutions to prevent gun violence. Her comments on Trump followed his afternoon address to the annual meeting of the NRA. Giffords, a Democrat, was shot in the head in a 2011 shooting in Tucson that left six people dead. She has since co-founded a gun violence prevention organization. Trump was the first president to speak at the meeting since Ronald Reagan in 1983. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_TRUMP_NRA_THE_LATEST?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-04-28-15-02-04 |

Did her ''speech'' go something like ''Duh, bumble de bloo arrrgh wargle bleh?"
Pretty sure she forgot it was a liberal democrat that capped her. I guess ''co-founded'' now means sit in a chair and drool and let others put words into your mouth. |

That's a pretty quick turn around for a potato, a good one usually takes 55 minutes.

saying potato over and over does not count as criticising a speech.

Former NYC mayor Micael Bloomberg has the answer to ending gun violence. Prohibit youths from having guns.

Sure she did.
Her husband should be ashamed how he trots her out. |

Serious....what is her solution to preserve gun rights AND prevent gun violence?
There is no plan that will do that. Pure political BS. |

Fuck you Gabby. I'm quite sorry that some crazy person tried to kill you, but being a victim doesn't make you an authority. Take your opinion and stick it up your ass.
Liberals love to trot out the victims so they can pull on the heart strings. God knows they can't win debates on the merit of their arguments so they have to appeal to people's emotions. |

Violent crime isn't randomly distributed.
It tends to occur in the black inner cities. The best solution is well known; it is the policing approach Rudy Giuliani used in New York. This approach isn't needed in most of the country. But it is the right approach in the big cities, at least those that have the problem. It isn't a matter for federal law really. The spike in back homicides in big cities is the direct result of BLM, the Obama DOJ and leftist local governments. No amount of federal gun control will help. In fact it will hurt, because it will disarm the law abiding and squander LEO resources going after people who won't kill their neighbors. |

The sides have already been chosen. There are no fence sitters on this issue except for those that aren't old enough to shoot/vote. Our mission is clear.
