I just go around to reading yesterday's paper (I take the Wichita Eagle). Anyway, there was a story on the front page about the Oklahoma Highway Patrolman who arrested Timothy McVeigh. It appears that the only reason that he arrested him was because he noticed the bulge of a weapon in McVeigh's jacket. The newspaper article goes on to describe the weapon that was discovered:
"Hanger removed a .45- caliber military assault pistol from the man's shoulder holster. It held one impact-expanding round in the chamber. The clip in the pistol carried 13 rounds of high-velocity bullets."
What in the hell is a military assault pistol? An impact-expanding round must be a Democrat code word for hollowpoint. Aren't all rounds high velocity?
Just another example of the media twisting the facts to make the weapon look like the evil party, not the person carrying it.
