I watched it; I found it very interesting, yet sad.
The DOJ screwed that one up bigtime, but I also believe Weaver was a bit of a crackpot. I saw him at a gun-show in the 90s in Austin trying to sling books for the paladin press. |

Just finished it. Watched it in segments tonight. The interviews with the daughter were very compelling. I don't think I knew he and Harris had been acquitted and then he turned around and successfully sued the federal government.

Theres a book called Cold Zero written by Chris somefuckinHRTguy. Spills the other side of the story. I give him credit, as he really doesn't try to spin anything. Just tells the story as he saw it.

I watched all of the Congressional testimony on CSPAN way back after it happened.
Read Gerry Spence's book too. What a shitshow by the ATF, US Marshals, and FBI. Our fuck face sheriff that won't issue CCW permits was involved in it. |

Weaver was no saint by any means, but as such he did not deserve what happened, all for entrapment. It happened under Bush, and the ring leaders of this shit show never were severely punished. Several of them were later in charge of another mess in 1993 when they attempted to raid some bible thumpers outside Waco. That whole mess was an attempt at showing who was in charge and we know how that turned out 24 yrs and 5 days ago. Too many members on here are unfamiliar with Ruby Ridge and that's a tragedy.
