Totally original, the First Order is going to make a come back and chase the ~~rebellion~~ Republic to an ice planet, many battles will happen with first order getting the upper hand in all of them. Fin and Po will kiss to make Ray jealous. In the end all the "good guys" will get separated making us wonder what the future will bring for the Republic.

The only human character whose name I can remember from that movie was Jin Urso. I literally can't even remember the other characters' names.

Let me guess....in the The Last Jedi we see the rebellion is in hiding on an ice planet and the first order is building a super-dooper death planet.

I actually liked Rogue One. It showed the rebellion wasn't cohesive and wasn't above doing something dirty. Plus there was no "saved at the last second" scene where the rebels win.

Disney killed Star Wars for me. Between the complete rehash of ANH with Episode 7 and the SJW/Daddy issue/We deliberately built in a weakness in the DS Rogue One and how small the galaxy is in Rebels with all the old characters who keep popping up, I'm done with it.

Unfortunately the new director is hampered by the shitty story of TFA and all the other stuff Jar Jar abrams messed up, but it may still be salvageable.

First thing I'm hoping for is that the opening scene shows Finn dying, since you know, he got his spine filleted by a lightsaber and all.

I don't really understand the hate for Rogue One on this forum. It literally had everything a Star Wars fan loved about Star Wars, except Jedi. Epic space battles, epic ground battles, it had more shots of the beautiful OT ships than the OT and they didn't look CGI, it showed a grimy, dirty galaxy. The few gripes it contained were way overshadowed by awesome Star Wars-ness.
