Counting the gun on layaway, I have 4 uppers to 2 lowers. But only 2 bcgs.
2 -1.

They all get paired up. I even started buying matching stripped uppers and lowers together so that I didn't have to buy them separately. I currently have two stripped uppers and lowers.

Although I do have an SCR lower that is missing an upper. I'm still deciding on which route I want to go with an upper.

Anytime I get something that throws the ratio out of whack, I end up completing it.

No clue on how many rifles exactly, but I did have two extra, now I'm down to one, so I guess I need to order a couple more. That said I also have enough parts to make up 3 or 4 more excluding the lowers, but I have no plans to as this gives me spare parts on hand, without having to canibalize the complete ones.

This.

I have also been known to buy boxes of ammo because it's on sale, even though I don't have a gun chambered for it.....................and I always end up buying a gun for it.

We talking stripped or completed lowers?

Probably 1:1.5

I typically have more lowers in stock than uppers.  Uppers seem to come and go but lowers are always needed.

Imhave 2 extra lowers right now but I have plans, and some parts, for one. The other is just a 'lower of opportunity'. The first is becoming a match rifle. The second, well, next time there's a cheap upper on sale that I find interesting we'll find out.

1:1,  in 5.56, 1:1 in 9mm, soon to be 1:2 in 9mm (getting a better lower for the 9mm Pistol, and relegating the PSA LRBHO lower to paperweight status.

1:1 (finished)

A finished upper or lower without a completed mate is an offense in the eyes of God, St. Stoner and St. Browning.

I was going to use my good Colt lower with Geissele trigger with everything, but got on a kick with some $39 Anderson lowers.  Currently 1:1.

I honestly don't even know how many uppers or lowers I have.  That doesn't count parts.

I guess I know how I need to spend the weekend.

4 uppers
7 lowers (3 actually lost in tragic boating accident)
1 extra Toolcraft BCG
parts galore

I've had dozens of ARs, but realized I would have more fun with other types of guns and sold several ARs to fund a Steel Challenge 24/45 setup, precision bolt rig, USPSA LTD setup and other fun guns.

I have one more upper (.223) than I have lowers, because I really don't shoot .223/5.56 anymore - they have all been converted to other calibers.

3 uppers and 2 lowers. The third upper is probably never really ever get used as it's more of a backup, so I have a hard time justifying getting another lower.

I have one additional upper, and one additional lower.

At this current moment, 2 lowers 3 uppers. A week ago it was 3 uppers 1 lower.

Which reminds me I need some damn black Duracoat or Alumahyde II
